Employers’ Liability policy covers an organisation’s legal liability for accidental bodily injury occurring to employees due to negligence arising out of and in the course of employment.

Cover Provided

The participant is indemnified in respect of all sums they are legally liable to pay as damages and claimant’s costs and expenses arising from accidental bodily injury occurring during the period of insurance in connection with the course of employment.

Usual Exclusions

This policy will NOT cover the following:

• War, invasion act of foreign enemy, hostilities, civil war, revolution, terrorism.. etc.
• Claims arising from the use of asbestos or asbestos containing materials
• Liability assumed by contract (unless liability would have arisen anyway in the absence of the contract)
• Fines, penalties, liquidated damages, punitive or exemplary damages
• Offshore work
• Pollution (unless caused by sudden, identifiable, unintended and unexpected causes)
• Toxic mold
• Nuclear or radioactive exposure
